People have been calling for a meeting, so I'm putting forward the idea of having it on Sunday the 12th of April - This coming Sunday (or Saturday the 11th if you're Falc).
If you've got plans for Easter or just can't be there, reply to this post to help organise a new date.
The player who plays the best (relative to their skill level), or just does something intensely awesome will be eligible for the second-ever WAAW Award - To be presented by Puglin. _________________ Nothing ruins a beautiful day like imminent catastrophic ecologial disaster. |

I won't actually be participating, due to my terrible net; I'm just trying to get something organised.
So we've got a suggestion for the 26th.
Anybody got anything else to add? _________________ Nothing ruins a beautiful day like imminent catastrophic ecologial disaster. |

I'll be at the in-laws on dialup, so I don't think so.
Sunday nights are usually okay. |

| A suggestion, if I may - when choosing titles for new meeting threads, include the month and year, so they don't get mixed in with all the other meeting threads. |

Nice idea, I'll be sure to follow that in the future.
Lich; were you going to be on dialup for Easter or for the 26th? _________________ Nothing ruins a beautiful day like imminent catastrophic ecologial disaster. |

| 26th is fine (though it was a little dicy there for a while, being flooded in for a couple of days and then having the horse float blow its bearings during our great escape) |

Damn! I heard it was getting kinda crazy over there, but I had no idea it was that bad...
Blew its bearings? Unlucky. _________________ My soliloquoy is: anthropomorphising antidisestablishmentarianists is as floccinausinihilipilifacational as magnetoencephalography. Except on Sunday.

| So - is there a meeting tonight, Sunday, 26 April 2009? If so, Puglin, can you confirm your local time or even let me know AEST? So far as my participation is concerned, I'm running a little short on indulgences in my household, but I'll see what I can do ... |

DAMNIT. Sorry guys, my internet's been down for the last half-a-week, and I haven't been able to contact ya. So did you end up having a meeting after all? _________________ My soliloquoy is: anthropomorphising antidisestablishmentarianists is as floccinausinihilipilifacational as magnetoencephalography. The words "pissup" and "brewery" come to mind, but I'm not sure if they have the right connotations outside of Australia.

Quick intelligence test:
There is one small and fairly insignificant difference between the above two posts. See if you can find it. Got it? You might be up to the next challenge then - organising an NMR meet. |
