Zomi-woah.
Dad bought a new monitor for this PC (one that doesn't take up most of the desk). It's not huge but I dont actually have to scroll across to see the whole webpage any more xD.

Bah. Puglin's all bored again. Let's try not to let the forum stagnate like this, guys. Say something interesting that's gonna provoke a conversation. Something like... if God is all powerful (meaning, by definition, he can do anything), can he create a rock so big that even he cannot lift it?
Hope none of you are overly religious. |

Ohai;
Gratz' to Sratchet!
We noticed Srat and Lich were using some clever tactics and strategies; don't know who had done the planning but they were co-ordinated in their attacks. We think that it's great that Srat has managed to fit in so quickly, sometimes new members try to do everything themselves and go for glory, and to see a new member working with his team in his first tournament is awesome. |

... SERIOUSLY?
I rest my case. It just doesn't sound very... inventive, is all. Though it WOULD be useful for geography. The names kinda give you a basic overview of the place. Unlike places around here, like Dunsborough. On the other hand, we DO have Gnomesville, which is literally a tiny town filled with hundreds and hundreds of garden gnomes. People don't even LIVE there. |

Ok, so there a lot of place names end with -up, and here they end with -land
(In Dutch the Netherlands is called Nederland (which means lowland)). |

| Oh dear, lol. No offense, but that doesn't sound very original... where I come from, we have places like Yallingup, Willyabrup, and Bunbury... nobody has got a clue what they mean, lol. |

Bah... I see your point... but we don't have enough current players to instigate such a scheme. There's only a few 'mericans, and most of our Europeans have deserted (for those who don't know, we constantly have people losing interest in the clan, but we have a steady flow of new members, too, so it all evens out). Tes and the other Hooglanders can rarely come, because the timing is positively shit for them.
This is wayyy tougher to organise than it seems. Still, we'll get there eventually.
So guys, it's school holidays for me and Gen right now, so does anyone want to have another meeting, say, next saturday at the normal time? |

Generally have a meeting every month or so, me and Puglin have a game now and then too if you want to join in.
With full clan meetings, if we get many more new members from different timezones I'm thinking we may have to have some smaller meetings with other players from the timezone. I don't like this idea but I know that the times aren't practical for many of our members, and expecting them to stay up late/get up early for us isn't reasonable.
Eg. The members that were at the birthday meeting were all Australian - The times were pretty good for all of us and the ping was lower for most.
If we got a few more American members something like that could happen there - and theres already a few Europeans.
Don't bag me for this idea - It just may get to the point where the times are so diverse that even though we have more members, less will be able to turn up. |
